Born again. (Saved.) (2) Sanctification (3) Baptism with the Holy Ghost, are three spiritual works of grace Jesus provided for all believers. Born again gives life. Sanctification fills with Joy. Holy Ghost is our guide and teacher.
By 325 AD the early church had become covered over by creeds and doctrines of men. After this, the world went through a period called the dark ages (people were ignorant: and, unenlightened) which lasted hundreds of years. Prior to 1740, John Wesley, a Methodist minister had been preaching the first definite works of Grace, regeneration (a spiritual rebirth or Born again). Then about 1740 he saw the light on the second definite work of grace called Sanctification. He began to preach and teach sanctification as a second work of grace. For over 100 years the masses received this blessing!
In 1906 William J. Seymour was conducting
Church service at
I received all three definite works of grace myself in 1948, at the age of 21 and I still stand firm on this bible doctrine. I try to explain in detail what must happen and how to receive these blessings below entitled, The Three Definite Works of Grace. These blessings are for you if you desire them enough to seek for them.
THE THREE DEFINITE WORKS OF GRACE
(1) BORN AGAIN (2) SANCTIFICATION (3) BAPTISM OF THE HOLY GHOST
(1) The first definite work of grace.
Born again (Saved) John 3, 3 through 8, & 1st Peter 1:23 what is born again? Answer! Regeneration or brought into life or existence! The new birth or born again experience is a spiritual experience that takes place when the blood of Jesus Christ is applied to the heart and removes all the sins one has committed from their natural birth until they are born again by the spirit of God. Three things must take place before one can be born again, (1) Conviction (2) Godly Sorrow and (3) Repentance!
What is Conviction? Answer! This is a spiritual condemnation that takes place within the heart over the way one has sinned against God and it has brought them to the point of wanting to make things right with God. When this condition invades the heart and one begins to pray, they will enter a spiritual condition called Godly Sorrow. What is Godly sorrow? Answer! It is a spiritual sadness, grief, grievous, or heaviness of heart condition that takes place within the heart after conviction has fully invaded the soul. Godly Sorrow works together with conviction to draw one into the spiritual presence of Repentance. Without this spiritual drawing of Conviction and Godly sorrow drawing one into the spiritual presence of Repentance, it’s impossible to be born again. In 2nd Corinthians 7:10 for godly sorrow worketh Repentance to salvation----- As one is drawn into the spiritual condition of Repentance by Conviction and Godly sorrow; one will weep and pray as never before. This is the beginning of godly sorrow working within their heart, which instantly brings on the spiritual workings of Repentance!
(3) What is Repentance? Answer! Asking forgiveness for all ones sins until Jesus forgives them! Now one has reached the place as described in 2nd Corinthians 7:10, where Godly sorrow has brought on the workings of Repentance. Romans, 10:9, that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shall be saved. John 14:6, Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh to the Father, but by me. As one prays, weep, and repent, (Repentance) it becomes easy to pray because the spiritual spirit of Repentance has engulfed them. The more one prays and weep, the more they will want to pray and weep. If one continues praying when this condition comes upon them, Jesus will accept their sacrifice offering of repentance and forgive their sins, and they’ll be born again. One does not have to know how it works, or why does one receive it this way. But they must desire this born again experience more than anything else to receive it. This can happen within a short period of time, when the Holy Spirit comes into them if one will continue praying and asking for this divine blessing
(2) The Second Definite Works of Grace!
Sanctification John 17, 13-23 & 1st Corinthians 1:2, 2nd Thessalonians. 2-13 and Hebrews 10:10 what is Sanctification? Answer! It’s an act of cleansing. To make holy or to make free from sin! When one is sanctified, they are changed from a sinful nature to a Holy nature. Why should one be sanctified? Answer! Because of the sin Adam and Eve committed against God, we inherited the same sinful nature they had after they sinned. When Adam and Eve were created, they were created Holy beings. When they sinned against God, they fell from that Holy nature into a sinful nature. Because of this everyone born with an earthly mother and father were born with that sin seed, (a nature, or desire to commit sin).
At the moment we were conceived in our mother’s womb, we were contaminated with that sin seed. When one is saved, all the sins they committed are forgiven, yet they are still contaminated with a nature to commit sin. To be restored to the Holy Nature, in which Adam and Eve were originally created, we must be sanctified. Jesus speaking in John 17:19, and for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. Since sanctification is an act of cleansing, or makes one holy and free from sin, sanctification is what cleans the temple and removes the inherited sin. The Holy Ghost will not come into ones body until they are fully sanctified. Sanctification comes by praying and asking the Lord to sanctify us. (1) One must be born again (saved) before they can get sanctified. (2) One must be sanctified before they can receive The Holy Ghost. One will know when the first signs of sanctification begin to move in them. It will flow into them as an electric current would flow. Usually one will feel the first flow of the spirit in their hands as they are raised, or down through their face, shoulder or back. When one feels this, sanctification has started removing that Adam nature that causes them to sin. This can bring on such things as shouting in a dance, running in the spirit, laughing, shaking and quaking in the body, or other manifestations of the spirit. One could even receive the Holy Ghost when this happens.
Even when one is sanctified and returned to the same spiritual state as Adam and Eve before they sinned, doesn’t mean one cannot backslid and go back in sin again. It happened to them! It can happen to you.
(3) The Third Definite Works of Grace!
Baptism of the Holy Ghost! Read all of 1st & 2nd Chapter of Acts. Notice especially Acts 2, 1 through 4. What is the Holy Ghost? Answer! He is the third person of the Trinity. The Trinity includes (1) The Father, God, (2) The Son, Jesus (3) The Holy Ghost. Why does one need the Holy Ghost? John 16:13, Howbeit; when he, the spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth. For he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak; and he will shew you things to come. If you notice in John 16:13 above, you’ll see that Jesus was telling them about the coming of the Comforter (Holy Ghost) which would not come until after he returned to the father in heaven, because he had not yet been glorified by the father. Jesus was the comforter while He was here, so the Holy Ghost could not come until after Jesus returned to heaven.
Did you know that your body is supposed to
be a dwelling place for the Holy Ghost? Notice 1st Corinthians 6:19, What?
Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, which is in you,
which ye have of God, and ye are not your own. Luke
24:49, and behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of
Most receive the Holy Ghost by praying and seeking for it about the same way as one seeks to get sanctified, except they pray and ask the Lord to fill them with the Holy Ghost. One should continue seeking by praising his name, giving glory and honor to Jesus in every way they can until they are filled with the Holy Ghost. When it happens, they will begin to speak a language they never spoke before.
There are occasions where others receive the Holy Ghost by the laying on of hands. But, most receive the Holy Ghost by praying and seeking for it. Since these three works of grace are so closely connected, most pray through not realizing there are three, until later, after its revealed to them by Gods word, or a Christian.
As thanks to those who helped me; I strive to help make the path that leads to true and complete salvation as clear as I possible so others will not be lead astray by the false impression that are being presented by church’s today. Many who have now become apostate churches, presenting a false plan of salvation that will cause souls to be lost. This is serious business. To bring ones soul in subjection to Jesus, one must humble down and pray until victory comes. If one does not know how to pray, they should kneel somewhere and begin asking Jesus to save them. They should seek him until they know they’re saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost. You’ll definitely know when Jesus moves into your heart.
If your life has been filled with sadness, depression, discouragement, disappointment, broken hardness, and you feel completely alone, then turn to Jesus and accept him fully, and he’ll fill you with complete joy.
This is strictly an outreach ministry, reaching out to people wherever we can to encourage and instruct them in finding Jesus as Lord of their lives. We are trying to present clear and true information to the lost on how to find true and complete salvation. We welcome your comments!
